The BMW Brunei International Half Marathon 2025 is hoped to strengthen Brunei Darussalam's image as a sports tourism destination, and fostering a healthy lifestyle among the local community. It was launched in Kampung Anggerek Desa, 8th November afternoon.

Present was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Mu'min Ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Perdana Wazir Sahibul Himmah Wal Waqar Pengiran Muda Mohamed Bolkiah, as President of the Brunei Darussalam Athletics Federation. This year's event also made history when it received the World Athletics Road Race Label. This places the country on the world map as a host of international class running event. The Brunei International Half Marathon will be held on the 21st of December, and will feature the 10-kilometre and the 21-kilometre run.
